Classes
The hardest part of training is committing to come to training - the easiest option is not to do anything - but you won't get fit, be able to defend yourself and have fun. It is hard work but it does make you feel good after!

All Brisbane Jinen Karate classes start with warm-ups, stretching and focus on flexibility. We move on to what we call basics which are a combination of techniques, coordination and balance. We work with students to develop their stances, blocks, striking, kicks, moving training, kata and kumite (sparring).
All BJK students are exposed to a range of practical self defence techniques.
Each Brisbane Jinen Karate class has a major fitness and stamina component which incorporates flexibility, balance and coordination.
BJK also welcomes those students who want to train to access the benefits of the flexibility and fitness components but do not wish to undertake the karate syllabus - come and join in anyway.
